Target identification and divestment - Perth iX


Perth iX is a Perth-based data centre operator.

In February 2011, privately held Perth iX was considering an offer for its world class data centre located in the Perth CBD. Hall Capital was engaged by the owner to identify a superior offer and negotiate and execute the sale to a strict timeline. Hall Capital introduced Vocus to the process and led deal negotiations with Vocus on behalf of Perth iX.

On 28 March 2011, Vocus Communications Ltd announced it had entered into a binding agreement to acquire Perth iX for approximately $7M - with $6.275M in cash up front.
